Job Title: Deskside Support Technician  L2

Type: Contract- 2 Weeks

Location:  Etobicoke, Ontario, M9W4X1

Start Date: February 1st, 2021

End Date: February 12, 2021

Shift timing: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM 

Our client is looking for  IT Technical Support (Level II) resources to provide deskside support. This is a 2 weeks project that could be extended one or two weeks.


  • There are 60 sites that require Mobile printers each to be asset tagged, staged, recorded, and prepared for shipment
  • Each site also requires a Rubbermaid Cart to be packed on the same skid for shipment.

Upon completion of the above, we may also have the technicians complete the following:

  • Preparation, recording, shipping of project components to 50+ stores
  • Each store will be shipped x3 of all components for the project

Upon completion of the above, we may also have the technicians complete the following

  • Staging of 300+  LRTs devices
  • Deal with 3rd party IT vendors as required
  • Manage IT asset inventory as required

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

  • 1-2 years of hardware, software (Windows 7/10), and end user support experience
  • Have junior-to-intermediate internetworking and troubleshooting skills
  • Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
  • Have A+ certification & potentially other IT industry certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or other OEMS (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP, etc.)
  • Must be a self-starter and can manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
  • Available to work flexible work schedules
