Job Title: Remote Bilingual Help Desk Technician
Type: 4-month contract
Location: Bloor St West, Toronto, ON M8X 2X2
Start Date: July 24th, 2020
End Date: November 30th 2020
Hours: Monday – Friday between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM
Summary:
The technicians will be manning a tier 1 support desk helping remote deployment users with data migration (which is accomplished by scripts and OneDrive) and assisting with how to questions and issues with workstations within a week of deployment schedule. Users will be across Canada and some will require French support. Tech will be supporting the workstations but application issues and environmental (e.g. password) issues will be escalated to Tier 2.
Skills required:
- Fully bi-lingual remote technician
- MS Office 365 install, migration and back up
- Win 10 migration from Win 7 and troubleshooting
- Ability to help and support a remote new user from start up
- Tech savvy and ability to work remote
- Speak and communicate clearly with end users
- Previous remote support and help desk experience
- Professional, polite and a good listener
- Needs to be able to work in a quiet and professional home office setting
