Job Description

Our client is looking for a Project Manager who will be working in the fields of event management and business projects. The main mandate will be to coordinate the work associated with the preparation of the annual meeting and the business meeting prior to the event. The coordinator will also be responsible for supporting smaller business project activities. The Project Manager reports to the Director of the Project Office


  • Provide a common understanding of project direction
  • Provide integrated management of project management and coordination
  • Ensure adherence to roles and responsibilities
  • Manage assignments
  • Ensure the follow-up and quality of the deliverables produced by the implementation team
  • Maintain project timelines and budget
  • Securing the stowage with the dependencies
  • Promote and participate in workshops as needed
  • Escalate the so-called critical situations to the project promoter
  • Facilitate coordination committees and ensure accountability to the steering committee

Required skills:

  • Have a minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in event management and business projects.
  • Demonstrate political sense, autonomy and leadership, good verbal and written communication skills, and teamwork.
  • Excellent command of the French and English language
  • Fluency in French language is a must have skill
