Job Title: Desktop Support Technician
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 - month contract
Address: Markham, ON L6G 1B2
Responsibilities:
- Migrate end users from one domain to another
- Will be done remotely from provided workstations
- Contact end users over the phone, connect to workstation via team viewer, migrate workstation over to new domain
- Training will be provided
- Perform basic LAN and inter networking related activities
- Handle software installation/support/upgrades
- Provide 1st level Help Desk support
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
- Have at 3 – 4 years of field service experience doing hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities
- Office 365, Win 7 -10 experience needed
- Have at 3 – 4 years of deskside support experience
- Have strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Citrix would be a nice to have
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
- Must be available to work flexible work schedules
- Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
