Job Title:           Desktop Support Technician

Start:                 ASAP

Duration:           3 - month contract

Address:           Markham, ON L6G 1B2

Responsibilities:

  • Migrate end users from one domain to another
  • Will be done remotely from provided workstations
  • Contact end users over the phone, connect to workstation via team viewer, migrate workstation over to new domain
  • Training will be provided
  • Perform basic LAN and inter networking related activities
  • Handle software installation/support/upgrades
  • Provide 1st level Help Desk support

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

  • Have at 3 – 4 years of field service experience doing hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities
  • Office 365, Win 7 -10 experience needed
  • Have at 3 – 4 years of deskside support experience
  • Have strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Citrix would be a nice to have
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
  • Must be available to work flexible work schedules
  • Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
