Job Title: Deskside Support - Level 2

Type: Contract

Location:1 rue Hotel-De-Ville, Dollard-des-Ormeauc, QC H9B 3H6

Duration (if contract): 3 Months

Start Date: August 2, 2021

End Date: November 5, 2021

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday/ 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Monday through Thursday onsite and Fridays remote (9am to 5pm)

Hours/Week: 40

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour 

Overview
Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic deskside support services installing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and network related issues
  • Troubleshoot issues on PCs, laptops (Lenovo models), printers, etc.
  • Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 suite and services
  • Handle software installation/support/upgrades
  • Provide Help Desk support
  • Support for Zoom Video Conferencing & MS Teams
  • SCCM for imaging laptops (in progress of implementing WDS)
  • Desktop Central for pushing out updates and patches
  • Bell Total Connect support
  • Cisco VPN support **

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

  • Experience with Jira Service Desk ticketing system
  • 2-3 year of field service experience doing hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities, and deskside support
  • 2-3 year of deskside support experience
  • Have basic internetworking and troubleshooting skills
  • Working towards or a A+ certification
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
  • Must be available to work flexible work schedules
  • Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
