Job Title:  Bilingual Help Desk Support Technician

Duration: 6 Months (potential to extend to 1 year after 6 months)

Start Date: July 26, 2021/ Immediate 

End Date: January 28, 2022

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday/ 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Hours/Week: 40

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Must Have

  • Bi-lingual - Previous, related deskside support experience

Nice to Have

  • Professional, polite, experience with dealing with end users
  • Ability to read and follow instructions
  • Clear and concise communications (Eng./French), written and spoken
  • 3 yrs experience basic desktop trouble-shooting
  • Work support desk for Tim Hortons Projects
  • People skills and work well on a team

Job Description

  • This is 100% in office at HP Facility in Ottawa Integration Center
  • Monitor the Tim Hortons call desk, provide support as required
  • Respond to issues
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve as required
  • Ensure and follow up on incoming tickets
  • Perform smaller tasks when not busy re laptop and desktop config (basic skills)
  • HPI will train and improvise & shadow the resource for a period of time
  • Ability to open and close calls
  • Ability to work through calls with an end user, escalate and ask for help when needed
  • Willingness to learn and expand within the role
