Job Title: Bilingual Deskside Support Technician - On-site
Openings: 3 Bilingual Deskside Support Technicians
Type: Contract - 7 months
Location: Mirabel, QC
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5:00
Starts: ASAP (Monday, November 2nd)
Ends: June 30, 2021
Tasks:
Provide on-site help desk to Airbus employees on their network access, devices, and desktops
- Trouble-shooting experience required for both hardware and desktop applications such as Win 7/Win 10
- Assist in resolving end-user issues with login, errors, and connectivity
- Experience with the process of moving users from an old desktop to a new desktop (back-up & migration of data)
- Supporting Microsoft applications – O-365
- Some experience on CITRIX
- Microsoft Office 365 experience and knowledge
- Previous experience in similar roles helping users
- Able to read and write and communicate clearly in French and or English as required
- Minimum 3 years previous experience required
- Get user sign off when issues are resolved
- Need to keep accurate and detailed notes of services and assistance provided on tickets
- Enter resolution into Help Desk Portal
Skills:
- Communications, speak, write, and understand in either French or English
- Professional, previous experience in dealing one-on-one with end-users at various levels, including executives
- Good people skills, clear verbal communication skills, polite and courteous
- Experience in being able to diagnose hardware desktop problems, open a desktop, switch outboards or hardware
- Experience in being able to troubleshoot software issues with Microsoft Win 10, O-365, or Citrix
- Minimum 3 years proven abilities in similar roles for Desktop support in other enterprise environments.
- Good IP understanding of networks
