Position: Bi-Lingual Mid Level Desktop I.T. Technician (Kitimat, BC) 

Start/End Date: ASAP (6 weeks contract)

Location:  Kitimat, BC (Candidate from British Columbia and neighbor provinces can apply)

Travel Notes:
1. The selected individual will need to travel to Sagunay QC. for 2 weeks training and on-boarding.
2. Subsequently upon completing training they will travel to Kitimat BC to perform onsite work for 4 weeks duration.
3. All travel for lodging , hotels and per-diam will be paid by the company
4. All safety and PPE equiptment will be provided by the company

Experience: 2 years of PC/laptop deployment experience, 2 Microsoft migration Windows 7 to Windows 10 

Certs/Credentials: A+, Network+ 

Personal Skills: Fluent in French and English, Organizational skills, communications, written & verbal, professional appearance

Scope of Work: Desktop installation, refresh from Legacy equipment, Administration, Data wiping, End User Support, Imaging

Technical Qualifications


  • Perform deskside support services installing and troubleshooting of hardware, desktop software and network related issues
  • Provide 2nd or 3rd level Help Desk support
  • Handle software installation/support/upgrades
  • Respond/update/close calls in ticketing system CDM

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required

  • Have 2 years of experience working independently

  • Resource must be MRA compliant (Criminal Background check)
  • Have Win 7 to Win 10 migration experience
  • Knowledge and experience in utilizing MS tools
  • Ability to migrate data and image desktops from the network
  • Ability to trouble-shoot and work with end users in a professional manner
  • Ability to load apps from network
  • Ability to follow and scripts and direction on installation/migration process
  • Ability to update progress, status reports on-line, daily as instructed
